The Chinese PLA Naval Forces has already been tested three times a submarine based and nuclear warhead capable of Julang-3 (JL-3) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) capable of reaching anywhere in the United States. When the latest Chinese JL-3 submarine based ICBM were launched on Sunday, 22 December, 2019 from the side of a Jin class nuclear powered submarine located in Bohai Bay in the northwestern part of the Yellow Sea. The test launch of the JL-3 ICBM was carried out from underwater position. The PLA Naval Forces had been tasted the promising ICBM JL-3 and then it might be the third. The first launch was made on November 22, 2018 and the second on June 2, 2019. It is known that the JL-3 solid-fuel rocket is intended to equip the next-generation nuclear powered submarines of PLA Naval Forces. The range of the missile is declared up to 9,000 to 11,900 of kilometers. The JL-3 ICBM missile can carry a single 250-1,000 Kiloton nuke warhead or low-yield ten Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicle (MIRV) nuclear warheads of individual guidance system. On the other hand, the new JL-3 ICBM missile will go to equip the next-generation Chinese nuclear missile submarines (supposedly designated as Project 096). Commissioning of the nuke submarine is expected in the mid of 2020.

চাইনিজ পিএলএ নেভাল ফোর্সেস ইতিমধ্যেই তিন তিনবার সাবমেরিন ভিত্তিক ও নিউক্লিয়ার ওয়ারহেড সমৃদ্ধ জুলং-৩ (জেএল-৩) ইন্টারকন্টিন্যান্টাল ব্যালেস্টিক (আইসিবিএম) এর সফল পরীক্ষা সম্পন্ন করেছে। যা কিনা মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের যে কোন স্থানে আঘাত হানতে সক্ষম বলে জানানো হয়েছে। চাইনিজ পিএলএ নেভাল ফোর্সেস কার্যত অতি সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে গত রবিবার, ২২শে ডিসেম্বর, ২০১৯ এ সর্বশেষ জেএল-৩ (আইসিবিএম) বালেস্টিক মিসাইলটি ইয়োলো সী থেকে উত্তর-পশ্চিমাঞ্চলে বোহাই বেতে অবস্থিত একটি চীনের নৌ বাহিনীর স্ট্যাটিজিক জিন ক্লাস নিউক্লিয়ার পাওয়ারড সাবমেরিন থেকে লাউঞ্চ করা হয়েছিল। এটি ছিল আসলে জেএল-৩ আইসিবিএম এর তৃতীয় সফল পরীক্ষা। তাছাড়া জেএল-৩ (আইসিবিএম) বালেস্টিক মিসাইলের প্রথম পরীক্ষামুলক লাউঞ্চ সম্পন্ন করা হয়েছিল ২২ নভেম্বর, ২০১৮ এবং দ্বিতীয়টি করা হয় ২রা জুন, ২০১৯। আসলে সলিড ফুয়েল চালিত জেএল-৩ (আইসিবিএম) বালেস্টিক মিসাইল দিয়ে চীনের পিএলএ নেভাল ফোর্সের পরবর্তী প্রজন্মের প্রজেক্ট ০৯৬ নিউক্লিয়ার পাওয়ারড সাবমেরিনকে সজ্জিত করার উদ্দেশ্যে ডেভলপ করা হয়েছে। যার প্রথম সাবমেরিনটি ২০২০ সালের মাঝের দিকে সার্ভিসে চলে আসতে পারে। যা হোক জেএল-৩ (আইসিবিএম) এর সর্বোচ্চ রেঞ্জ ৯,০০০ থেকে ১১,৯০০ কিলোমিটার পর্যন্ত হতে পারে। এটিতে একটি সিঙ্গেল ২৫০ থেকে ১,০০০ কিলোটন ধ্বংস ক্ষমতা সম্পন্ন নিউক ওয়ারহেড কিম্বা পৃথক গাইডেন্স সিস্টেমের স্বল্প সক্ষমতার নুন্যতম দশটি মাল্টিপল ইন্ডিপেন্ডালি টার্গেটেবল রিএন্ট্রি ভেহিকেল (এমআইআরভি) নিউক্লিয়ার ওয়ারহেড বহন করতে সক্ষম বলে জানানো হয়েছে।
